The Revelation Of Christ

To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”  Revelation 1:5-8 (NKJV)

The Book of Revelation opens up with a powerful prologue that characterizes the supernatural mission, power and eternal nature of Jesus Christ. As the Alpha and the Omega, the Eternal One, one day at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

To those who willingly bow their knee and call Him Lord and Savior He will bestow on them the crown of king and priest.  For He has loved them and made them clean by His blood. To those who mourn at His coming, they mourn knowing the time has passed to willingly bow their knee; for they loved their sin more than the One who offers the crown of eternal life.
